  Match Preview

Welcome to our special one off pre-season match preview! We don't normally do match previews and reports for pre season games, however as everyone is very excited and looking forward to this game we though you would enjoy knowing more about the team that we will be playing in 8 days time!

Le Havre ended the season with a 6-1 loss, despite hoping to finish on a more positive note! They finished the league in 17th place, and would have been relegated if they had just three less points. However, they have survived and will be playing another season in the French League Two.

Last season, Le Havre played a total of 38 games however they only won 11 of these. 9 were draws, but 18 losses ensured they would be fighting to stay up as mentioned above. The team who finished top of the league 'Nancy' won 21 of the 38 games, and completed the season with 71 points.

At home, Le Havre won more than they lost, however it was away from home where that they seem to have lost their confidence and the results do dramatically down hill. However, we did not do much better only winning one more than them overall away, while at home we lost more than we won.

Despite ourselves only just signing two new players over the last week, Le Havre have been busy! 7 players have departed since the end of the season, however another 7 have either signed new contracts or joined the club! Two more players are also rumoured to sign.

We look forward to an exciting game next week...
