My
name is Luke and I am 19. I live in Worthing and attend most games home
and away. My favourite current player is Bobby Zamora, but my favourite
all-time player is John Robinson. The best ground I have seen Brighton
play at was Old Trafford and the worst ground is Gillingham. I think
we will get to the play offs this season and Falmer: sooner the better! My
favourite BHAFC website is North Stand Chat and my username is Luke17. |

Hi.
I'm Colin, I'm 45 and I live in Gloucester. My first match was in 1967 v
Northampton at the Goldstone. I was 10 years old and it was like the scene
in "Fever Pitch" when I first saw the vivid green of the pitch
from the top of the East Terrace. I can still picture it now.
Unfortunately, we lost 2-0 but it didn't put me off. From then on I was
hooked!
Fondest memories are many, but of course the highlight had to be the Cup
Final in 1983. It was just unbelievable that we were there. I got to
Wembley at around 11 am and wallowed in the atmosphere, watching everyone
arrive and the ground filling up. I had tears in my eyes when the teams
came out and tears again when we should have won it right at the end! I
also remember the match at Newcastle in 1979 that clinched promotion to
the old Division One. My favourite player was always Mark Lawrenson
because he played in the same position as I did, although not quite to the
same standard! I always wished that he'd opted to wait and play for
England rather than the Republic of Ireland. He was a fantastic defender.
Peter Ward ran him close as a favourite, as did Garry Nelson, but
Lawrenson was simply the best. I find it difficult to choose the best goal
as there are so many different reasons as to why one is superior to
another but all in all, Robbie Reinelt's goal at Hereford may not have
been the most spectacular.
I
like using North Stand Chat and the Sunday News section on Flying High! |

Also known as Roz when being a "real" person. But, as the pic
shows, I've got many faces because I dabble about with all sorts of
Albion'ish stuff like Keep The Faith, "And Smith Must Score" and
other odds and ends mainly to do with writing "stuff".
I've got my own Albion website but my favourite place is NSC.
Although Sunday News is great!
Nobody will be interested in how old I am BUT but cheered to see
that Snowy and I have summat generational in common! Started my
love of footy by supporting Spurs but transferred my allegiance when I
came back home to live in Sussex again and went to watch Albion against
Spurs in 1983. Suddenly realised I was sitting in the wrong bit of
the Goldstone and from then on, it was the North Stand for me.
Remember all the "bad years" only too well and I don't care if
I never see Gillingham again. That's why it's brilliant to see where we
are today and Danny Cullip's goal against Cheaterfield last season was a
moment I'll never, ever forget. Although it comes second to
Robbie's goal at Hereford. Another day I never want to see the like of
again!
My favourite player is Lee Steele because he gives 200% in every game
and played his way off the transfer list by sheer determination. A great
lad in every way.
