The fans of Le Havre are inviting Brighton fans to have a game of football on Sunday morning before you travel home. They say for their 17th meeting, they would like Brighton fans to spend a small amount of time with them in a friendly game of football.

The day will begin on 9:30am on Sunday, 10th July. Fans are requested to meet at Youri Gagarine Stadium in Dollemard. This is located in the north west of Le Havre, and a map is available from the link below:

The football match will take place between 10:30 and 12:30, with a small picnic afterwards until around 13:00. Le Havre fans will then spend the afternoon together, and you are welcome to join them, or head home to catch your ferry, train or plane!

They look forward to the day, however please note that it can be cancelled due to bad weather.

If you would like to take part, you must register your interest on their website. The translated version can be found below:

They do have some rules if you wish to take part.

- They insist on the good spirit of these days, the disturbing elements are not welcomed and will be excluded.
- the day can be cancelled due to bad weather. We will inform you, as far as possible.
- You must fill a form if you would like to attend.
- Your address email must be valid because we send practical information by email to you. In the event of a problem, contact us.

If Brighton fans can manage enough people to make at least one team, this will be an excellent day to bring the two clubs together. Up to 1000 fans are expected to travel to France - surely we can get together at least 11 - 15 fans and any others that just wish to watch?

More information about the day can be found on the teams message board, which can be selected below:
