We
reported back in April that we would be sponsoring the '158 Grounds In One
Week' trip to Withdean Stadium. The aim of the tour was to raise money for
three charities, Macmillan Cancer, Mind (the mental health charity) and
STRIPES (the Stafford Rangers supporters trust fund).
Ian Preston, shown below with Ian Saberton
said "The tour went well and we were able to meet our target of 158
grounds in a (decimal) week but we incurred fairly large travel costs
along the way."
The tour took place to raise money to
support our charities, STRIPES (the Stafford Rangers Independent
Supporters Trust, which raises funds to assist the survival of Conference
North club Stafford Rangers), Mind a charity that works to provide a
better life for everyone with experience of mental distress and Macmillan
cancer relief. We hope that through charitable donations we will be able
to provide a significant donation to all three causes.
At the time of writing, they have raised over
£1,600.

To help with travel costs, they are asking fans to click on
the adverts at the top of the page. They are also still accepting online
donations, and these can be sent through their website using the link
above.
During July, August and September they are planning to run
a number of auctions on eBay using items that have been collected
throughout their journey. More information can be found at

From everyone at Flying High, we would like to say well
done to Ian and Ian, and hope they are pleased with the amount donated due
to all their hard work.
