It's that time already - time for the Carling Cup draw to be made. At 7am this morning, the results of this draw were announced from the 72 Football League Teams, which this season have been split into Northern and Southern sections. Therefore, we would definitely be playing against one of the Southern Un-seeded Teams mentioned below:

Barnet, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham, Colchester, Leyton Orient, Milton Keynes Dons, Northampton, Notts County, Oxford, Peterborough, Rushden & Diamonds, Shrewsbury, Southend, Swansea, Torquay, Walsall, Wycombe, Yeovil.

The decision:

12, Brighton & Hove Albion FC

will be playing away against:

34, Shrewsbury Town

Many fans were looking forward to any of the games, and this should game against League Two Shrewsbury should be no disappointment to see us into the second round!

If Albion go through to the next round, we will be joined by the 12 Premiership Clubs which are not participation in Europe. These are:

Aston Villa, Birmingham, Blackburn, Charlton, Fulham, Manchester City, Portsmouth, Sunderland, Tottenham, West Brom, West Ham, Wigan

And if we make it through to the third round, which everyone will be hoping for, we could be playing against on of the following:

Arsenal, Bolton, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Newcastle!
