  Flying High Report:

Leon Knight saved the day in the fifth minute of injury time, in a game many fans are calling one of our best achievements this season. This puts us 17th in the table, and a good few teams away from the relegation zone. It has also put a dent in Sheffield United's race for the Premiership, especially after their win against Aston Villa last weekend.

Despite the score being level for much of the second half, Sheffield failed to score a goal. Carpenter scored just before half time, however it was leveled with an own goal from Kerry Mayo!

As the first half opened, Sheffield could have got a 1-0 lead, however they messed up a couple of chances, finally hitting the side of the goal.

It wasn't all for Sheffield however, and we had our own chances at goal. A corner from Carpenter failed to reach the back of the net at this early stage.

Just before the break, we caught Sheffield off guard, getting a nice lead before the half time whistle.

This was an excellent confidence boost, however it wasn't to last as Kerry Mayo lifted a deflected ball from Virgo over Kuipers straight into the net!

The score was now 1-1, and there was no way we were going to lose the three points now! Reid got the ball to Knight who managed to get it past United keeper Kenny to score the winner deep in injury time.

An excellent game, with an excellent result which almost wasnt!

Is another three points on the cards for the game against Nottingham Forest? They got beaten by Millwall 2-1 yesterday, and are currently 23rd in the league!

  Managers Comments: (Sheffield UTD)

"I said it was going to be a difficult game but unfortunately we shot ourselves in the foot and made it 10 times more difficult.

"I knew it wasn't going to be pretty and I would have settled for a 1-0.

"I thought we were unprofessional today. I thought the defence were poor in certain situations and I have made my comments to them."

  Managers Comments: (Brighton)

"For the first 10 games of the season, we couldn't have imagined coming here and winning a game like this, except if we fluked it.

"We are now coming to places like this believing we can get something and it's quite a change.

"The run comes through self-belief and playing well. We're getting better."
