Club Facts                                                                                [Top]

Coventry City play at Highfield Road, where they will soon be moving into their new ground after playing at their current one for over 100 years. The current capacity is 23,500.

Food & Drink                                                                            [Top]

There is a wide variety of pubs and places offering food, with the most popular of these being Gosford Street. Here you will find Phat Larry's, Hand & Heart and Beer Engine. There is also a number of chip shops and takeaways which offer a variety for all tastes.

Thackhall Street where the away end entrance for the ground is has a pub which is open to Away fans.

If your coming in from the other direction, Clay Lane also offers a number of pubs, and a chip shop dubbed the 'best chippy in Coventry'. Give it a try...

Car Directions                                                                          [Top]

If you are travelling up on the M40, exit at junction 15 which will bring you to a big roundabout. Take a right, and follow signs for Coventry A45.

This is the tricky bit - the ring road...

If you keep following the signs for the city centre, you will end up on the ring road. After you have been round it about 10 times (hopefully not!) you need to exit at Junction 3 which takes you in the direction of Leicester. Follow the signs until you get to 'Sky Blue Way' where you will find some traffic lights. Make a left here which will take you into Oxford Street. Follow this road onto Paynes Lane where you should see the ground nearby.

Train Information                                                                     [Top]

The train station is about 20 minutes walk from the ground, however it is well signposted. You could also get a taxi from the station for a couple of quid, or the bus from the city centre (below).

Full train timetable information for this match will be available at least two weeks in advance.

Bus, Tram & Underground Information                                  [Top]

Bus 17/27 takes you from the city centre passes by the ground. You also need to make sure you have the right amount, as you will not get any change!

Parking                                                                                    [Top]

Park here is very very (very!) limited, and anyone turning up even after 1pm - 1:30pm could struggle to find a good spot. You should aim to find a spot down the side streets.
