Club Facts
[Top]
The ground has had two new stands
constructed at either end, greatly improving the overall look. The
club were looking to also improve the Main Stand, however opposition
from residents has put the plans on hold.
For any other visiting team, a trip to
Crystal Palace, nicknamed The Eagles, might be a relaxing day out -
however with them being one of our most hated rivals there will always
be some looking for trouble. Keep your eyes open, don't get involved
with the trouble makers and you should be fine.
Away fans are seated in the Arthur Wait
Stand, where up to 2,000 supporters can be seated. Don't expect this
whole allocation to be given to The Albion! The total capacity of the
ground is just over 26,000.
Food & Drink
[Top]
There a plenty of shops selling food along
the way, including fish and chips and kebabs.
Food is also available from within the
ground before and during the game. All the regulars are available,
including burgers and chips that are reasonably priced. No alcohol
however is served to away fans, so if you do enjoy a pint before the
game - you will have to find a pub on the way over!
Places to try are Wetherspoons, opposite
Thornton Heath Train Station.
