Hull City play at at Kingston
Communications Stadium, which has not even been open three years when
we visit in August. It cost £44 million to build, however is home to
both Hull City FC and the Rugby League Clubs. Under soil heating is
also installed, so it never freezes in the cold winter months.
Unlike most other stadiums, you might
actually be able to hear something from the PA system! An excellent
new system has been installed and you should be able to hear every
word...
Away fans are seated in the North Stand,
where a total of 4,000 supporters can be accommodated. The total
capacity of The Tigers ground is currently 25,504, however the club
are hoping to increase this to 34,000 after the next season.

Food & Drink
[Top]
All the food and drink you would expect to
be sold at football matches can be bought here, including alcohol. The
Chicken Balti Pie is also available here for a reasonable £2.20!
If you want a drink before the game, your
best bet is to get it in the ground. Most pubs around the ground don't
accommodate away fans, and there are always a couple of Hull fans
which like to cause trouble!
No smoking, and no standing is allowed in
the seated area of the ground. You are warned that the stewards are
very strict about both of these rules, and this has lead to some
unpleasant confrontations between away fans and stewards.

Parking
[Top]
The stadium has a massive car park that
allows both home and away fans to park their cars during the game for
£2.50. It is recommended you park here is you can, as some residential
areas near the ground have been designated residents only. The only
problem parking at the ground is getting away afterwards!
You could also try the Park and Ride - See
