Club Facts
[Top]
Luton's ground looks somewhat neglected,
however this is mainly due to the club looking into moving to a new
ground.
The Oak Road Stand is given to supporters,
which has a scoreboard on the roof. This is also known as 'The Small
End', and can accommodate up to 2,000 supporters. Fans going to this
game who have not visited before will find going into the ground
slightly strange! It is more like going into someone's house than a
football ground! See the picture below...

Like all old stadiums, supporting pillars
at The Hatters ground could restrict your view if you end up behind
one!
The grounds capacity is currently just
under 10,000.
Food & Drink
[Top]
Despite not looking like much more than
someone's house from the front (See above) there is more than first
meets the eye. Refreshments are available inside, including the
Chicken Balti Pie for a reasonable £2.20.
For a drink before the game, try the
Bedfordshire Yeoman on Dallow Road. Both home and away supports are
welcome! There is also a fish and chip shop near to the pub if you
would prefer this either before or after the game.

Car Directions
[Top]
Getting to Luton isn't that hard. Just
leave the M1 at Junction 11 and take the A505 towards Luton. Go
through one set of traffic lights and at the 1st roundabout, turn
right into Chaul End Lane.
At the next roundabout turn left into
Hatters Way, whilst continuing down Hatters Way the ground will be
seen on your left, although it is not accessible from this road.
At the end of Hatters Way turn left and
start looking for street parking from here on (the ground will now be
on your left).
Train Information
[Top]
Luton train station is at least 15 minutes
walk from the ground. There are normally taxi's waiting outside,
however expect them to be few and far between!
Exit the station and turn left along the
bridge. Go down the steps and turn right along the shopping centre.
Once at the top, turn right into Dunstable Road the ground should now
be on the left further up.
Bus, Tram & Underground Information
[Top]
Sorry - There is no information for this
section.
Parking
[Top]
Not quite as strict as Withdean, however
no parking is allowed near to the ground. You will either have to park
a little further away, or use one of the many car parks that are set
up for match days.
