Sheffield Wednesday's ground is certainly not one of the newest, however it does have its distinct character about it. Away fans are normally placed in the upper tier of the West Stand. Up to 3,700 supporters can be accommodated here.

If you are taking your camera, please be warned that the stewards are very stick on photography!

As with all grounds, food and drink is available inside. Burgers, Chips and Pies - including the Chicken Balti Pie is available at reasonable prices.

Behind the ground, heading away from the City centre is a hill! Up here are a number of away friendly pubs if you fancy a drink outside the ground before the game.

Getting to Sheffield Wednesday's ground is very similar to going to Sheffield United strangely enough! On the M1, this time exit at Junction 36 and follow the A61 into Sheffield. Simply follow this road for around eight miles, and you should see the ground on your right.

Train Information                                                                     [Top]

Despite being close the United's ground, the same train station is a little further away from here! Around 2 miles. You can catch a taxi from outside the station, or go across the road to the bus station (See below). You can even catch a tram (See below)...

Sometimes, special busses are laid on from the station to the football ground. Watch out for one of these if possible.

Buses 53, 77 and 80 regularly goes past the ground.

Get a blue tram into the City Centre, where you can change onto a yellow one which takes you right up to the ground. If you don't want to change, stay on the blue tram which will take you to Hillsborough - around 10 minutes walk to the ground.

There is no a lot of street parking, and you will most likely have to use one of the matchday car parks on the A61 as you head towards the ground. They charge between £2-£3 depending on how close to the ground they are.
