You should have been sent details about what time to arrive in the post. This is normally between 11am and 4pm. When you arrive you will be directed where to park. Don't unpack anything yet! Go to the main reception area (Old Court, See picture below) and up the stairs. Here you will meet the hall paddies who will be looking after you for the first couple of weeks. You can now unpack and get your room just how you want it - as well as getting used to your surroundings! Take a walk along your corridor to meet the other people who you will be living with, and make sure you visit the kitchen as your sure to find fellow freshers congregating here for the first couple of days. It may be daunting, but try and meet as many people as possible. This will allow you to choose the people you get on best with, and those you have most in common - most peoples best friends are those from other areas of the hall, not those they live next to!
